Heesterveld

In 2009, the building complex Heesterveld, located in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, was the last bit left of the original Bijlmer. Dazzleville

The temporary studio village Dazzleville arose on grounds of the NDSM Shipyard in 2003. It was built to house the artists during the renovation of the shipbuilding hall. Brightly coloured studios accommodated around 20 creatives. Once the renovation of the hall was complete, the Dazzleville residents moved into Kunststad and the village was demolished.
